A tranquil fusion of soft textures, desert hues and native artwork, the spa’s decor is balanced by the healing and life-giving symbol of Arizona’s indigenous agave plant. The spa has integrated the traditional native treatments past down from Arizona’s many cultures of healing.

Agave, The Arizona Spa is a heavenly retreat designed to rejuvenate and renew the mind, body, and spirit. Agave is one of best resort spas in Scottsdale. Serving as the spa’s main inspiration, the indigenous agave plant is used in many of the treatments offered, providing guests with the benefits of its moisture-rich qualities. This full-service spa also showcases exclusive services developed by its own therapists as well as rare ancient treatments infused with the essence of the Far East.

Agave includes 21 treatment rooms, a salon, movement studio, weight training/cardiovascular studio, men’s and ladies’ locker rooms each with whirlpool, sauna and steam room and a juice bar. Cabanas surround the pool garden, providing guests with a private area for relaxing, meditation and exterior spa treatments.

Guests will enter through a courtyard flanked by citrus trees and overlooking the expansive water recreation area. The spa’s lobby, decorated in light woods and soft tones inspired by the colors of Sedona and the Grand Canyon is open, inviting and promises you won’t get lost in the maze-like layout found at many resort spas. Central to the entrance is a spa boutique where you’ll find a tempting selection of skincare products, clothing, music and unique gifts.

Before your treatment, you’ll be escorted to the private luxury of the men’s or women’s locker area, each housing keyless entry lockers, spacious showers, steam and sauna rooms and fully stocked vanity areas. Grab a refreshing agave limeade or orange spiked iced water as you await your treatment in the softly lit relaxation room where you can lounge in cushy wicker chairs draped in soft terry cloth. Treatment rooms, each named after an aspect of the tequila distilling process, are warmly decorated with elegant handmade throws and locally made earthenware.
