You can choose any 5 Medifast Meals from their menu of over 60 Medifast Meals, including Medifast shakes, bars, soups, pudding, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and more. Your daily Lean & Green Meal consists of a balance of lean protein (such as beef, chicken or fish) and vegetables, which you’ll prepare yourself.

For a men or women’s 2 week supply it can range from $149.95, and for a 4 week supply for both men and women, it will cost you $289.95 This pricing is similar for the diabetic meal plans. They do have all their different food products broken down to purchase separately but it is not any less expensive to purchase them as individuals.

- There is quite an extensive list of possible side effects some of which are normal for weight loss programs.
- We found this product to be one of the most expensive weight loss programs thus far. We understand that you are being provided with actual meals (all other programs food and supplements are additional costs that do not show up front) and that you need to take six of them every day, so it is hard to compare to a pill or a capsule.
- Transitioning back to food and portions takes time
- As with any diet when you lose weight quickly you may be at greater risk of gaining it back unless you make lifestyle changes and adhere to a maintenance program.

does seem to be an interesting way to try and lose weight and the claims and results of the Medifast “stars” do show incredible results. We do find the product to be expensive but that might be expected due to the fact that it is through a meal based system and not just a weight loss supplement. At roughly $70 per week it is comparable in costs to programs like Jenny Craig or Nutri/System.
