Mahalo Health Spa / Garden City NY Spa / New York Spas / Best Spa Nationwide

 

 

After a long work week with the added stress of holiday preparations, several Garden City residents and businesspeople took a break to relax and decompress at the Mahalo Health Spa and Natural Organic Café’s “Happy Healthy Hour” event back in December.

 

All guests received a gift bag packed with organic snacks and a door prize of a detox foot bath, manicure or free lunch, as well as leaving in a relaxed, peaceful frame of mind. The next Mahalo event, entitled “After-Holiday Relax’n Recover,” will take place on Saturday, January 12 from noon to 2pm.

 

 

Guests enjoyed each other’s company while receiving reflexology treatments, manicures and pedicures. A variety of organic vegan salads were served along with Elixir tonics named “Mind over Muddle” and “Liquid Yoga.” According to the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center, organics have grown at a rate of nearly 20 percent per year for the last seven years and industry experts are forecasting continued growth. An Organic Trade Association survey forecasts that everyday use of all kinds of organic products will be routine by 2025.

 

Garden City Chamber member Jean Magiaracina of General Utilities attended with long-time friend Marion Romeo of CL Romeo Realty Inc. and made appointments for spa services later this month. Marcy Alper, a XanGo distributor from Syosset said “I enjoyed the Mahalo Spa experience tremendously. I was able to relax in this beautifully tranquil environment while teaching others about the benefits of Mangosteen juice.”
