Downtown salon adds day spa to second floor
Nichelle Sharp, a licensed cosmotologist, and Sage Harrington, an esthetician, are in charge of the facility on the second floor of the hair salon near downtown Lafayette.
The day spa offers manicures, pedicures, facials, massage, ear candling and has a separate makeup room.
“A lot of other salons and spas do offer facials and other things. We thought we could add on here so people have one place to get everything done,” Sharp said.
“A lot of people are coming in just for the spa.”
Full massage, Swedish massage and chair massage are all available.
“The chair massage and manicures and pedicures are most popular,” Sharp said.
Harrington is the son of business owner K.J. Nutt and enjoys working with his mother.
“It’s really fun. I love it,” he said. “We’re really similar, so for the two of us to be in the same building is fun.”
