PROGRAM FOR MOTHERS AND TEEN DAUGHTERS
The two-night, three-day package will be offered February 17-19, April 20-22, June 29 - July 1, August 17-19, 2008.
From $396 per person for mother and daughter sharing a room plus tax and gratuity.
The package includes:
- A guestroom for two nights for mother and daughter to share
- Dinner on Sunday and breakfast and lunch on Monday
- Group activities and discussions with Pamela Olausson, a licensed clinical social worker with a special gift for working with teens. In an an informal and engaging way, she will help mothers define healthy, positive communications and practical tips for talking to their daughters. She will speak separately with the girls about body image, peer pressure, autonomy and academic pressures. Finally, she will bring girls and mothers together for an open discussion of dating, relationships, fashion, and the effects of the media on their lives.
- Both mother and daughter will have a spa service and yoga class.
Complimentary use of whirlpool, sauna and steam, fitness center, relaxation room and exercise pool.
- Both will rejoin for a group presentation of Makeup Color Analysis with tips and techniques from one of the spa’s professional make-up artists, and an interactive cooking demonstration with Executive Chef Daniel Chong, Jimenez. He will be emphasizing flavors and foods representing trendy choices that are also healthful and capitalize on a teenager’s existing eating habits.
