Earthbound Beauty Day Spa in Newport is now offering a new method of permanent hair removal.
According to the spa, it is fast, safe, effective and affordable. It also is very comfortable as compared to waxing, electrolysis and laser hair removal. Unwanted hair is a huge problem for a large portion of the population, crossing all age, gender and ethnic lines. Many women, including “young” women, suffer from unsightly hair on various parts of their body, from facial hair all the way down the frame to “toe hair.” As long as the hair is dark in color this process works by following the color down to the root, and destroys the bulb of the follicle. The process doesn’t work for white peach fuzz.
Men also can use it on their beards, backs, chests, unibrows and more. It is also quite affordable. Most people will require from three to 12 treatments, with the vast majority needing only six treatments. This “Pulsed light” protocol is FDA approved and completely safe if done by a trained esthetician or doctor. There is no down time; it can be done on a person’s lunch hour. The light has a rather large “footprint” for larger areas, so treatment can be done in a fraction of the time of other methods.
Earthbound Beauty will also be offering permanent make-up starting in November. This is the procedure where eye liner, eyebrows, lip color, is tattooed on for a “wake up to make up” look.
