Cavallo Point – the Lodge at the Golden Gate Announces Wellness and Girlfriend Getaway Packages
Packages Celebrate the Recently Opened Healing Arts Center & Spa
Cavallo Point – the Lodge at the Golden Gate, San Francisco Bay’s first and newly opened national park lodge, offers spa and wellness enthusiasts two packages at the new, elegantly designed, 11,000-square-foot Healing Arts Center & Spa featuring 11 massage rooms, tea bar and outdoor basking pool, among other amenities.
The Spa & Wellness Package includes two nights’ accommodation in a Golden Gate Jr. Suite, one facial and one massage per person, daily breakfast for two at Murray Circle restaurant, and overnight parking. Of the treatments available, guests receive the Eco Facial and can choose from the 60-minute Cavallo Signature Massage or the 60-minute Organic Massage. The two-night package is $1,400, based on double occupancy. Additional nights can be added for $700 per night, which includes one treatment, per day per person, breakfast and parking.
The Girlfriends Getaway Package includes two nights in a Bayside Two-Bedroom Suite or the Frank House, a two-story, two-bedroom restored historic house with its own kitchenette. The package includes a chilled bottle of champagne on arrival; one Eco Facial per person; plus the choice between either a 60-minute Cavallo Signature Massage or a 60-minute Organic Massage per person at the Healing Arts Center & Spa; daily breakfast at Murray Circle; and overnight parking. The package starts from $1,650, based on double occupancy. Extra nights and guests can be added at an additional cost.
The Healing Arts Center & Spa invites lodge and day guests to relax, renew and revive with an innovative spa menu of treatments and therapies. The two massage treatments offered in the packages — the Cavallo Signature Massage using aromatherapy oils and the Organic Massage incorporating traditional Swedish techniques — feature organic or wild-crafted ingredients blended exclusively for Cavallo Point. The Eco Facial is a customized, deep-cleansing treatment using the Naturopathica skincare line.
Both packages are valid now through May 31, 2009, excluding Dec. 24-31, and do not include tax and gratuity. Maximum guest numbers per room apply. Packages are commissionable to travel agents.
The two-story Healing Arts Center & Spa includes an expansive atrium lobby, 11 treatment rooms, two consultation rooms, fitness room, men’s and women’s locker rooms with adjacent eucalyptus steam rooms and outdoor whirlpools, co-ed relaxation lounge with library and fireplace, a retail store and tea bar. The tea bar features organic and wild-crafted teas and a variety of Earth Bar herbal drinks by Great Earth, plus a light lunch menu. The outdoor space offers a heated basking pool, fire pit with surrounding lounge chairs, and tea garden.
The Healing Arts Center & Spa is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Treatments begin at 9 a.m. Guests aged 18 and older are welcome; all sessions are available to lodge as well as day guests.
Guests also have the option to discover the lodge’s enrichment adventures and programs that pair property amenities with programs in adventure & well-being, creative arts, and culinary arts.
