Echelle Day Spa has opened a 6,000-square-foot business at 600 Malabar Road in Palm Bay that mother-and-daughter owners Betty and Michelle Rogers say is meant to reflect “Old Hollywood” spa treatment.
Services at the spa, which has a staff of 24, include specialty body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, nails, pedicures, hair and makeup.
Michelle Rogers started her plans for Echelle while operating Goddess of the Sun Tanning, then in Palm Bay’s Bayside Lakes area, almost four years ago.
Goddess of the Sun is relocating to behind Echelle Day Spa, and is scheduled to open later this month or in early March.
“My tanning clients are the ones who motivated me to open a full-service day spa, and I hope they are happy with the result of their requests,” Michelle Rodgers said.
Echelle Day Spa is accenting its interior with black-and-white portraits of movie greats like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe as well as newer stars like George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
