Scottsdale spa offers $10,000 treatment, calls it a bargain • The Lamar Everyday Spa A Scottsdale spa is offering a $10,000 VIP package for those with some extra cash to spare. Guests who choose the spa package at The Lamar Everyday Spa will have access to all 14,000 square feet of the facility, including a tropical fruit and beverage bar, swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and private changing cabanas, complete with robes and lockers. The price includes admission for 24 friends and co-workers, according to a news release from the spa. However, the cost jumps up to $15,000 on weekends. “High profile guests love our spa because everyone gets star treatment here,” said spa owner Heidi Lamar. The facility is located on Scottsdale Road, just north of Chaparral Road. For those who like to practice discretion, Lamar said there is also a private parking lot, along with a personal chef who provides either lunch or dinner, unlimited spa and salon services for up to five hours, one therapist per guest and a spa concierge. Compared to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grand Lakes ‘spa day’ cost of $99,999, Lamar said this offer is a bargain.
