Free spa services for cancer patients, Komen racer participants in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and patients at the Denver Health Cancer Resource Center. The spa treatments will be at a mobile mini-spa this Thursday and Sunday.
The mini-retreat on wheels is designed to give cancer patients, survivors and caregivers a much-needed break from their treatments, said Sara Miller, spokeswoman for Energizer, Re Treat, which is sponsoring a national spa tour for cancer patients. It’s the second year for the tour, which includes stops in Denver and 16 other cities nationwide.
The mobile spa will be at the following locations:
Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Denver Health Cancer Resource, Davis Pavilion, 700 Delaware St.
Sunday, Oct. 7, from 6:30 -11 a.m., Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at the Pepsi Center.
